Agila Kingdom Crowns Peace Ambassador: Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze

In a grand celebration filled with joy, tradition, and heartfelt gratitude, the Agila Community of Ado Local Government Area, Benue State, North Central Nigeria, has bestowed a revered chieftaincy title upon Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze, the distinguished member representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a colorful coronation ceremony held at the Agila Civic Center, His Royal Highness Emmanuel Otse Orinya, the esteemed traditional ruler of the Agila Kingdom, conferred upon the Lawmaker the title Enyi’Oyonla I of Agila Kingdom—a title which beautifully translates to “The Gentle Water That Quenches the Horrible Fire.”

This symbolic and deeply meaningful title reflects the Lawmaker’s relentless commitment to fostering lasting peace between the Agila people of Benue State and their neighbors, the Ngbo people of Ebonyi State—a feat many once thought impossible.

Addressing the jubilant crowd, His Royal Highness Orinya declared:

“On behalf of the entire good people of Agila Kingdom and the valiant members of the Agila Traditional Council (ATC), I proudly coronate you as Enyi’Oyonla I. You are a beacon of integrity and honor. Your countless achievements—especially in empowerment and peacebuilding—prove that you are truly God-sent. You have extended your hand of brotherhood across state lines and built a bridge of unity where there was once division. You are indeed the embodiment of all that is good.”

In his acceptance speech, an elated Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze expressed profound gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and harmony of the Agila Community:

“I give God all the glory for the lasting peace that has come to stay between Agila and Ngbo. But I’m not stopping here. In the coming months, I will ensure that Agila Kingdom is aglow with street lights, and I will bring in a senior geologist to resolve the community’s water challenges. This is just the beginning.”

The occasion drew dignitaries and community leaders from across states. Representing Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Chief Chukwuma Nwugwu, the Coordinator of Mbeke Development Center, praised the Lawmaker’s dedication and prayed for continued divine favor upon his life and service.

The coronation marks a significant moment in the history of inter-community relations in the region—a testament to what true leadership, humility, and a heart for peace can achieve.

Agila Kingdom has spoken: peace is priceless, and those who build it shall be celebrated.
