
EDO OCHEINU ADUBA was born on January 1, 1948 at Ikobi in Apa LGA of Benue State into the family of Aduba Agbo.
He attended Methodist primary school Adoka, he later proceeded to Jesus College Otukpo where he obtained a grade 2 Teacher certificate. After a short while of teaching in various schools he went to ATC Kano and ABU Zaria where he obtained NCE and BED . RESPECTIVELY.

Besides his professional career as a Teacher / Civil servant, he was a reveled Football Referee referee. This made him to rise to the echelon position of FIFA Badged Referee in 1994. He is the first FIFA badged referee From Benue State.
He was a notable referee of no compromise.
He was a National Training Officer Of Nigeria Football Referee Association from 2001- 2007 the position he occupied that gave him so much recognition nationally and internationally.
He was a chairman Grading and Assessment committee of Nigeria Football Referee Association. 2001- 2004
He was a member of the Nigeria Football Referee Association until his Death. To the glory and mercy of God, he survived a plane crash at Algeria en route to Tunisia for a football match on 18th 1994. He died on 29th November 2021.
